Executive Education (ExEd) is a unit within the College of Management of Technology (CDM) at EPFL, dedicated to the development and management of Executive Education programs. It offers a diverse range of executive education opportunities for working professionals, at the intersection of Management, Innovation and Technology. The ExEd portfolio includes the EPFL EMBA, the CAS Management in Life Sciences and the CAS Sustainable Resilient Value Chains programs, as well as Executive short courses and workshops.
In view of increasing awareness, interest and participants in our programs, as well as offering an outstanding learning experience, the unit is looking for a:
Digital Marketing and Events assistant, 50-60%
The successful candidate will support the promotion and delivery of programs through a combination of digital marketing, social media management, and event coordination. Key responsibilities include promoting the programs through digital lead generation and qualification, updating website content, producing and publishing engaging materials for LinkedIn, and ensuring smooth execution of events and course days. The role involves close collaboration across teams and with institutional partners, coordination with external vendors, and hands-on involvement in logistical preparations. It requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance digital content production with operational event support.
Digital Marketing:
- Support program promotion activities, including digital lead generation and lead qualification processes
- Coordinate performance marketing activities with external partners, including the review and validation of digital ads
- Update website content (edit texts, replace images, update links, dates, downloadable documents, etc.)
- Coordination with institutional partners for content publication on third party channels (provide content blocks for multi-theme newsletters, provide texts and images for website updates, etc.)
Social Media (LinkedIn pages):
- Coordinate publishing calendar across programs
- Produce content for publishing (edit texts, take and edit pictures of activities, create LinkedIn events, etc.)
- Manage light engagement and community interactions - like posts, react to comments, monitor inbox
Event production and coordination:
- Plan, book and ensure seamless execution of event logistics including catering, on- and off-campus venue booking, audiovisual equipment organization, guest identification (badges, nametags), gifts, etc. Presence in the events is required.
- Support course day logistics: preparation of materials for classes (badges, gifts, printouts), room booking and setup, coffee break setup and removal, attend selected classes
- Coordinate the production of print materials (brochures, flyers)
Experience:
The successful candidate will have a minimum experience of 3 years, which can include internships or relevant volunteer or student work, ideally in:
- Digital marketing, campaign coordination, content updates, performance tracking
- Social media management, preferably LinkedIn, with experience in content creation and community engagement
- Event planning and logistics, including vendor coordination, venue booking, and on-site support
- Producing and editing written content, images, and basic marketing materials
- Collaborating with partners, stakeholders, and service providers to deliver marketing and event projects
- Managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience and / or strong interest in executive education and programs preferred
Skills and personality:
- Education: Master's degree required
- Hands-on, problem solving and constructive attitude
- Open and communicative personality, at ease with customer-facing activities
- Independent and accountable
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, accurate and attentive to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and publishing tools (e.g. Later, SocialPilot, Buffer or equivalent) and digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Google Ads, analytics tools)
- Basic graphic editing and photo enhancement skills (e.g. Canva or equivalent)
- Working languages: English and French
- An experienced, motivated and collaborative team

- Flexible working conditions. Strong on-site presence required to attend courses and events
