The Production & Supply Finance team supports two manufacturing sites Monthey and Kaisten. Monthey is the largest of Syngenta's Crop Protection sites, operating in both AI (Active Ingredient) production in two distinct areas New AI's (NAIS) and established AI's (Lean). Kaisten is a single AI production site going through several stages of expansion.

Job description:

Your missions & accountabilities will be:

  • Finance business partnering Monthey & Kaisten site leadership team, including taking the lead on challenging and setting site budget and targets and performance to those.
  • Propose and implement new processes to improve efficiency in finance team working with multiple stakeholders (Finance / Non Finance).
  • Support any project for all finance activities: cash management, accounting, project cost monitoring, many ad hoc activities related to this project
  • Finance business partnering Indirect Procurement team onsite to validate and drive saving initiatives
  • Take the lead in standard setting process for Kaisten. Additionally gaining a thorough understanding of how the bill of materials (BOM), routings and activity rates are generated for AI production. Being able to compare product costs and detect inconsistencies/errors.
  • Analyse and forecast production performance for Month-End and Budget / Rolling Forecast

Required profile:

You would ideally come with the following knowledge and skillset:

  • Ability to leverage knowledge to turn results and data into meaningful management information.
  • Critical knowledge of accounting principles (Accounting Manual, IFRS)
  • Effective use of Microsoft office tools, previous knowledge of SAP is an asset
  • Fluent English (oral and written) and good command of French
