About the job
The Rolle Tourism Office is at the heart of La Côte, between Nyon and Morges. It welcomes visitors and provides information on activities and discoveries to be made in the region. As a key contributor to the dynamism and development of the municipality, and bearer of tourism projects, the Tourism Office is a major player in the life of the region.
In this context, the Rolle Municipality wishes to recruit, to replace the departing incumbent, a:
Tourism Office Assistant at 40% - Permanent Contract
Your duties
- Tourist information and promotion at the counter, by telephone and email in French, German and English.
- Sales of transport tickets, show tickets, and tourist products.
- Secretarial duties for car boot sales and other events.
- Organisation and follow-up of exhibitions in the premises of the Tourism Office.
- Updating and development of tourist data.
- Participation in the training of the intern.
- Various administrative tasks.
Your profile
- Commercial employee CFC or similar training.
- Possess a B2 level in German and English.
- Know and have an interest in the La Côte region and the canton of Vaud, know the attractions and tourist offers of Switzerland in general.
- Have 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Be comfortable using computer tools.
- Be autonomous and have a sense of organisation.
- Be discreet, personable and have good oral and written communication skills.
- Have a sense of public service and a team spirit.
Working days: 2 days per week on Tuesdays and Fridays (flexibility required during holiday replacements). During the summer period from June to September, the Tourism Office is open on Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00. The working hours are adjusted accordingly. This equates to approximately one Saturday worked out of two.
