- Within the Administrative Directorate, you ensure the strategic and operational management (financial accounting, creditors, debtors) of the financial department
- Develop a strategy for the department and implement it
- Manage the human resources of the department (around 15 people)
- Closing of accounts and preparation of supporting documents
- Specific financial monitoring and expertise, preparation of various statements and development of statistics
- Manage relationships with the department’s external partners (fiduciaries, banks, State of Fribourg, Confederation)
- Expert and sparring partner for the administrative management
- Contribute to the overall strategic vision of the University’s finances
- Contribute to the preparation of the financial plan and the annual budget
- You have training in finance and accounting (at least a diploma) and have completed continuing postgraduate training in financial expertise and controlling
- Comfortable with result analysis and management control
- Proficient in SAP S/4 HANA software and office tools (Microsoft 365)
- Several years of experience in project management and team leadership
- Knowledge of public administration processes or willingness to train in this area
- Excellent command of French or German with very good knowledge of the other language
