The Public Health Service (SSP) aims to guarantee the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of the population’s health. Health must be accessible to all, at an affordable cost. The SSP is the centre of expertise for all questions related to major public health themes. It identifies the population’s health needs, ensures an adequate offer, and monitors the quality of services. It also actively participates in discussions on the evolution of the health system in Switzerland, together with its partners from the cantons and the Confederation.

As a project manager, you contribute to the implementation of the cantonal strategy in the field of vital and non-vital health emergencies.
Within the unit responsible for the strategy and coordination of health emergencies, you transform strategic orientations into projects and concrete actions, in collaboration with the various stakeholders involved.
Your main tasks will notably include:
- Managing projects in the field of health emergencies
- Analysing and assessing the population’s needs and the evolution of care requirements
- Preparing reports and decision-support documents
- Designing and implementing communication and information actions
- Supporting the implementation of various measures and ensuring their follow-up
- Assuming organisational and administrative tasks related to the projects and activities of the unit
- University or equivalent training in health, public health, public administration, or management
- Proven experience in project management, ideally in health or public policy
- Good knowledge of the Swiss health system and its main actors
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and writing skills
- Ability to unite and advance complex projects
- Initiative, autonomy, and organisational skills
- Comfortable with IT tools and data processing
- Excellent command of French or German with good knowledge of the partner language (B1-B2)
