Automation Technician
About the Job
Within the Engineering department, the Automation Technician contributes to the reliability and performance of the refinery and pipeline installations. They ensure the maintenance, control, and optimisation of instrumentation and automation systems, adhering to the highest safety and quality standards.
What Awaits You
-
Install, calibrate, and commission measuring, control, regulation instruments, as well as analysers.

Carry out operational and safety tests to guarantee the reliability of the installations.

Participate in the diagnosis and troubleshooting of industrial programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

Contribute to the development and improvement of procedures and work instructions.

Ensure the monitoring and updating of technical documentation to guarantee traceability and intervention history.
Qualifications

Federal VET Diploma as Automation Technician or equivalent training.

Higher Technical College diploma in automation (industrial systems) is an advantage.

Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial environment.

Excellent command of French, both spoken and written; knowledge of English is an advantage.

Good command of IT tools and ease with technical environments.
