Objectives : Ensure the day to day operations of the training restaurant and deliver service practical training to students.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching:
• Teach service practical to students
• Assist in the assessment of the service theory exams.
• Carries out the service practical exams with the BA1 Program Manager
Management:
• Day-to-day instruction of service in the training restaurant.
• Assist the BA1 Program Manager in their Food and Beverage instructional tasks.
• Ensuring a good coordination between the service students of the restaurant and the kitchen.
• Control of Beverage and service material inventories.
• Prepare list of required material and equipment to be ordered for restocking.
Organizing:
• Organizing the production of restaurant’s menus and wine list in liaison with the BA1 Program Manager.
Communication:
• Ensure good communication between the service staff and the kitchen staff.
• Communicate with students regarding any training restaurant information.
• Supervise the training restaurants bookings.
Controlling:
• Ensure proper maintenance and usage of all equipment.
• Conduct monthly training restaurant beverages inventory.
Education :
• Bachelor en Hospitality Business Management ou International Business in Hotel & Tourism Management
• Fluent in English/(spoken/written), French a huge plus
